Fancy

Growing up and continuing through high school, I had zero understanding of fashion. I also didn't know how to dress my body in a "flattering" way. I've always been awkward socially, so looking awkward just came naturally. Thankfully I have since gotten a clue. Yes, my style can sometimes be a little out there and, according to many of the people I know, down right hideous. But I kind of like that. Below are some outfits I assembled for my own inspiration. Share your opinions on them, as well as your own style and favorite looks. I love talking about fashion, so chat away!

Stay tuned for tomorrow's entry. I'll be sharing cheap, home made skin care tips and recipes that will blow your mind and make your skin soft and dewy!!!

  1. Those dresses are amazing! Love both of them. And that bicycle ring especially is fantastic.

I must admit though that I do cringe at those shorts with the pockets sticking out. I've never enjoyed that look! I even remember back in the mid-90s when my friends and I were starting to cut our jeans into shorts and everyone was letting the pockets show. I refused even then. ;)

  2. haha I'm actually not a fan of the pocket thing either, but I searched through every store I normally shop at (and even some I don't) and I could not find a decent pair of black denim shorts. So I gave up and chose those. :P

I've never worn shorts with the pockets hanging out, either. Oh and both of the dresses and the ring are from modcloth.com. :)

(btw I love that you tell me what you don't like about it!! :D)

    1. Oh good! You had me worried for a moment there, haha. ;) Honestly the whole pockets showing kind of ranks up with baggy/tight pants being worn beneath the ass. Terrible fashions! But the shorts themselves are nice. I want to get a few more pairs of shorts this year, I only have one measley pair, haha.

I figured those awesome things were from Modcloth. Oh if only I had more money to buy more new things! I also wish I knew how to sew, so I could make my own skirts/dresses. That's one thing I really want to make an effort to learn this year! There's so much amazing fabric out there waiting for me!

And I will make a habit of discussing my dislikes as much as my likes then, if it pleases you. ;) I'll just never mock you for anything like some people choose to do, don't worry. :D
